Just for a reason to put it here to see your based on opinions. You may have seen few arts of mine that needed to be fixed immediately. To start things off: Here is the art I used as an avatar before:

I'll cringingly say the description: A female wolf likes the Angel (for a unexpected logical reason)...

Just when I see when things are not right or not well, I started revamping on that art and here it is:

Flaws I've done
* The female wolf's head is a little bit bigger
* The height seems to be a little off...

I will seemingly post this every time when I feel like it for your criticisms and opinions or just for fun.

Hmm, honestly the wolf girl should be redesigned fully, first because it doesn't look too much like a wolf, I'm sure you can have more variety in design options for a Sonic OC than borrowing existing character's features (should you notice hedgehogs have joined eyes and flat snouts, while others have separated eyes and longer snouts), secondly the proportions are off, the ears appear to be facing the same direction, and her right eye looks smaller than the left one, and the angel's clothes look really thick on the arms and legs, unless they're just not fit for his size, lol.

So that's my piece of criticism.

Eyes and flat snouts...very interesting...

[I can't believe I lost the reply in the foggy woods and can't memorize the duplicate of the post.... :mad: ]

Just for a brief, I kept imagining her like this before and thought it might seem possible to be displayed. I thought the female wolf's mouth supposed to be a little smaller like any female can, but it seems like it doesn't matter as long as if you know what you are doing with the character. Yes, I persistently used "Sonic's Eye Shapes" for almost all of my characters just for the sake of it (Just for the respect of memory). I saw others use the eye shaps while the most of them use the separate eyes and it's legitimate for the rights. But, I thought it could go well for the plot of the story of who goes where and what goes where. Thanks for a good criticism, SuperArthurBros. I might edit this if possible.

I think you mean "than the left one" instead of a right, but I see what you mean. xD

Since I'm bound to get used to GIMP by using a PC Mouse, This is the first imagery I attempted for my own character:

It's pretty basic, nothing really interesting. Though, the ear looks pretty strange and ends up looking like a weird growth than a actual ear.

Advice I wish I had given myself back in the day...
Make a new folder and start putting all of your finished pieces into it, naming them chronologically. YYYY-MM-DD.png
Many years from now, you'll be able to look back and see your progression as an artist, picture by picture. It's a very important thing to have, I think.
Have a good journey.

Nice! :D Though there are some issues with the bird in the sky image:
Looking at it I couldn't really tell what it was without the title. The bird isn't really readable at all (even now I struggle to see it as a bird, or any animate character). Also, moving the character up a bit might help a bit maybe, in addition to fixing the character.

The Marios look cute :)
