 When I first started working on Yoshi, I only realized he was slightly too big compared to Mario and the others AFTER I had already finished the sprite. I was proud of the Yoshi sprite I had made, but I'm a perfectionist when it comes to staying true to each character's official modern design, so I resized Yoshi and tried polishing it as much as possible. Do you think the more accurately sized Yoshi looks better? Or does it at least compare to the original one I made in your opinion? Oh, and there are some extra poses and characters at the bottom, because reasons. |

I would favor the resized Yoshi IF he was a little bit wider. Proportionally, he's identical to the big Yoshi, but his thin frame is hard to read when he's scaled down so small. |

I think he appears that was because he's standing upright, and not bent over like he is in Yoshi's Island, Paper Mario, Super Mario 64, the earlier Smash Bros games, etc. I tried widening Yoshi up a little, and the results were not pretty. Here's my Yoshi sprite paired along many others for a better comparison.  Edit: I will try though. Can you be a little more specific? Which part do you think needs to be wider? Belly, tail, etc. Second edit: This look better? I made his belly slightly bigger.
