I skimmed most of this so it might have been pointed out, but I think the graphic itself isn't why it was declined. It's not that bad, although there's always room for improvement. See the thing that says, "MUST GIVE CREDIT"? That's probably your problem. Some of my own graphics were declined for that as well. I'd suggest you remove that and say, if anything, "Credit appreciated".

There are a myriad of sprite sheets on the Mainsite that state that message.

So I just finished the sheet. Im changing this to a fanmade Super Bell Forest. I also added a new layer of super bells, fixed the trail, removed the flowers, and added fencing.

I have noticed some huge improvements vomparing to the original one. Good job! The only thing I have in complaint is jagged edges, but it's not much of a deal for a rookie spriter.

Yeah, that is much nicer!

Btw, you might want to call it Super Bell Plains. It doesn't really scream forest.

Super Bell Plains? I like it.

Btw, on mfgg, why do you have to send a removal request if you want ur sheet deleted? Its OUR sheet. We shouldnt need permission to remove it.

Well that's certainly an improvement. You still need to work on your shading, though.

Even though you now have perspective, I'm wondering if you could make it a little more... "dramatic"? Objects that are twice as far away should appear to be about half the size.

EDIT: I looked at these bell trees and they aren't shaped much like the official ones. Those have a more circular curve at the top, and don't have lines in them. I doodled in Paint.NET for a few minutes on your background and made this:

Image

Granted I think I made some mistakes myself, but I believe it's better and more consistent with the shading you have for the stems.

Because once you submit it to MFGG, it is no longer exclusively your sheet.

The staff is generally reluctant to have resources removed unless there's a good reason to do so, so you have to make a removal request.

EDIT: I'd really prefer that you try improving your own bells and not simply just using mine. As I said before, my bell was done quickly and I could have further improved it to make it more like the official ones. But if you insist on using what I made, you should credit me for helping you. Using other peoples' work without credit in your own graphical submissions is considered theft and is a very good way to get banned on the mainsite.

I was gonna credit you anyway, Who would just not give credit if someone helped them?

The salt is real

Ironically, the bigger you make your "MUST GIVE CREDIT" tag, the less likely people are to give credit to you. Make it smaller, make it less obtrusive, and don't use the imperative voice. "Credit is appreciated" is much better.

Ah...I'm gonna remake this again because of how terrible it still looks. I have gained more skill in spriting.

You can check out my more updated sprites on my DeviantArt:
krusperbutter.deviantart.com

Additionally, sorry for my terrible and immature responses. Especially to you, Cap'n Cocunuts, I dearly apologize for acting troublesome. As this isn't the first and last time we talked. The last time we talked it didnt end so well. I know this is old but still, I apologize.

This looks amazing! How did this not get accepted?! What were they on when they declined this?
