The koopa looks odd, and that brick block out of style (I assume it's a placeholder?). Other than that, everything looks nice.

Looks pretty good, I really wish there was a Super Mario Bros 2 theme in the real Super Mario Maker... :(

(11/28/2020) Looking back at most of the things I did here many years ago makes me feel embarrassed :p But hey, we all started somewhere on the internet I guess. This site is basically the only remains of how I was years ago, and I can't look back at what me from over 5 years ago thought was "comedy" without cringing haha

I don't know if I'll return here some day, but I thank you all for the memories coming back to me after looking through my old posts. (which I advise you not to look through if you want to stay sane) If I do return, I do know of the new forum's existence, I just felt like looking back at posts here instead since I was more active on this one.

The Piranha Plant's teeth is at a 1x scale, while it should be at a 2x scale. Also, the Koopa looks like he is sitting like a dog rather than standing up in four legs. Other than those problems, this looks nice.

I think the previous brick sprite was best.

I also added in the shadows and fixed the Goomba a little.

@Q-Nova: Actually, the Piranha Plant's teeth are supposed to be like that. If you look at it in any other style (or anything else that has a while outline, like wings), you'll notice it has a 1 pixel outline.

Nice, but it doesn't really make sense for the cloud and vine to change in the Underground style when that doesn't happen in any of the other games.
Also, why is the "ultra" note block pink?
And what would the exclusive powerup for SMB2 be?

Oooo, that looks really good. Bowser's a bit odd, but the rest looks quite nice. Didn't SMB2 have Bob-ombs and koopa shells though?

No. It's a Music Block, present in the original Super Mario Maker. They play a sound depending on height whenever an object bounces on it.

But anyways, that looks good Blutorus! Keep it up!

I thought off the top of my head for some reason the clouds change with different level types. Apparently not.

I'm choosing to leave the colored vines in, because the original SMB2 had its vines change colors depending on the level setting.

The music blocks are also pinker than the note blocks, but I think I made it too pink.

It did. I wanted to put in different Bob-Ombs because the ones in SMB2 had arms and look a little...odd. And I am using the Koopa shell from the original SMB2 ;)

This is some really fantastic stuff, Blutorus! Is it all custom? It fits pretty well into the SMB2 style. I'm especially a fan of the Bowser, which has that derpy old-school look of not quiiite fitting the official art. :D

Two things, though. Firstly, Bowser Jr. looks a little too tall. I think you've placed his head too high and given him a neck where he had none. Also, the Lanky Mario isn't quite...lanky enough? Your sprite doesn't capture that unsettling feel I get off of the SMB1 Lanky Mario. His head should be a little smaller in proportion to his body and his legs should be longer and skinnier. Here's an edit to show what I mean:
