Oh! I just checked your older art and you DID draw people. I didn't know! You've improved a lot even though I haven't seen any latest art of people from you but I guess that's why you say people isn't one of your strong points, but well, since you're making physical art, I guess you could do great at painting realistic people faces. I can't wait to see a portrait from you! I'm sure you will do much better than me. I don't wanna make realistic faces anymore. I just wanna stick with anime style and I guess that's my strongest point ever.

Oh hey, I like your stuff so far but just wanted to tell you something. It might make you feel bad but on the other hand it could help you a lot: I showed your stuff to my mom and umm, she said she honestly didn't like it. I think you could learn a lot from her, she is a great artist and can make really realistic stuff. I think the reason of why she didn't like them is because of the texture you're painting on, and maybe you could try to look at references more and try something even more photo-realistic. You say there's always room to improve, right? So keep trying! Good luck!

My feelings aren't hurt in the least by this. If she does not like it, then she does not like it. Simple as that.

That's right, I think you told me there's no correct way to do art or something like that, iirc? Art is subjective. I guess my mom's standards are just too high. Mine aren't, since your art seems to be pretty snazzy to me and I admire you for your skills. Same with everyone else here in MFGG, I think we all appreciate your artworks. On my side though, I wish I could be like you but I actually can't help caring about what people think about my stuff. It's just me... However, as long as they give you constructive criticism, it wouldn't hurt and it would encourage you to improve. I'm still looking forward to your portrait, have you gotten into it so far?

There is always room to improve. Even master artists are continuously learning their trade.
I am by no means a master however, and have a long way to go before I can call myself one. And perhaps not even then.
I would like to put it out there though, that realism isn't my goal in many cases.
More often than not, I actually have no goal to begin with. and my art still sells.
Most often around $20.00 - $50.00

Where do you sell your art if I'm allowed to ask ?

There are a few places. Commissions are sold in-person. Guests to my home sometimes buy them.
I also sell at the local farmer's market, and a mother's day event about 1 city away.
