Here's a W.I.P.! I'm currently working on my Drawing Comp entry! It's Daisy, as you can probably tell. It's not coming out as well as I wanted, but oh well... I still need to add more shading to make it look more consistent and add more contrast in the skin and gloves. I also wanted to have some flower shapes in the background to go along with her name. This drawing is of the Snow Queen from the Hans Christian Anderson story. It's an extremely incomplete sketch I made, but I decided I wanted to color it just because... well, I don't really know why. Anyways, it's not amazing but here are both the sketch and the colored version (sketch was taken with a phone camera because my scanner is sucking right now so the quality is really bad). I actually like the not colored one better :laugh: Oh and please ignore the ugly snowflakes in the sketch (and colored one also has uglies, but not as ugly uglies). I was just bored and wanted to draw some, but they looked like poop XP. Also she has no arms because it's not really finished. I didn't like how the last one came out, so here's version 2 of the Snow Queen! (Yaaaay!!! ^_^) It's still a quick sketch but meh. Aside from the extremely pronounced cheek, I'd say it came out pretty well. I also really liked your drawing contest entry - it looks simply gorgeous. The background design really enhanced the atmosphere.

I got my tablet! I've been practicing sketching and coloring on it... this is something I did 100% with it. I used SketchBook Express to make the sketch and Photoshop to color it, just in case for some reason you wanted to know... :laugh: It's still a W.I.P. and there's lots of stuff I need to fix up, though. Especially the shading on her tail and skin and I also want to make her arms a little thicker. But still, your opinions very much appreciated! Also I want to come up with a better background. They look much better on the tablet and on my Apple devices, so I guess if you have a computer with good display the colors will look vibrant like they're meant to, and if you don't they'll look a little more dull. :(

I made a painting ^_^ I think this is the first painting I've uploaded here (but it's definitely not the first painting I've ever done). I guess it's a fairy shooting magic at an evil cloud I don't really know xP Unfortunately the quality is bad because the photo was taken on my phone. That's impressive!!! I'm pretty dang jealous of it actually; painting is not my forté. Yours looks really good though. There is a lot of empty space, but the blending of the paints is superb
