I did a horror-looking Shy Guy that looks similar to that scary face in the new TV5 series Jasmine. Although that doesn't look scary (It should fit because usual sinister/ghost enemies don't look horror-ific even in SMW2: Yoshi's Island), it pretty much looks darker and doesn't use the default palette. (I used custom ones) [img]http://i.imgur.com/5bpLgBf.png[/img] The diagonal lines on the mask might have been supposed to come from a cut.

Considering the fact you had to explain what the line was for, I'd suggest making it look a bit more obvious what it is.

I agree with Juju. I probably would have eventually figured out that it was a crack, but at first it kind of looks like it's not supposed to be there.

You might want to fix the expression on his mask, he looks like he's saying "What I'm doing here?". If you want to make him look more scarier, put some more cracks on his mask and add some eye glow.
