Not gonna lie, some of these just look like cheap recolors.

Not much to worry, but the result of the cheap recolors was when I was once a beginner at spriting.

Yeah there are recolours but I do see a lot of impressive edits too. The koopas and the fludd looks good! Great start, I hope to see more

I find it odd that the shades of the brown signs changes as if there's no lightsource. You may want to fix that. Some of these are quite good. Although, you should try to practice spriting stuff other than tilesets. Oh and it's nice to see another Filipino guy in the forums ;P

Thanks for pointing that out Myte. I couldn't fix that, I'll be adding a Pixel Art portfolio here. I added a pixel art portfolio already and my new Future Nyan Cat sprite sheet.

I don't get how you stick MLP characters in all of your pictures.

I think Ponies are not really necessary to be added in, and one thing that irritates me is, isn't that pixel art because you just pasted different sprites from sprite sheets, and very little you did something original. i meant in the pixel art with ponies. either, this dose look a little bad its because you just used different sprites without any credit and you claimed this is the pixel art.

Take smbmaster9 for example, he like the show but doesn't post it everywhere, that's how fans should act.[/spoiler][/quote] ^This Pixel Art is actually not pasting ripped sprites into a scene without making any edit, Pixel Art is more like a drawing made "pixel"-like, I can't explain it formerly, but I also made some, and there are some Mario pixel-arts on the Spriters Resource, take those for an example. But if you're still into simple scene editing like in your images, I suggest you change the term "Pixel Arts" to "Hoaxes" or "Mock-Ups" which fits better.

I also submitted these to the queue in the MFGG mainsite, too. (I apologize if the sheet's description when accepted had "Derrick G" instead of "Derrike G", I forgot about his name and I misspelled it.)

Are there just big pipes in SML2? I don't really remember myself to be honest, it's been a [i]long[/i] time since I've played SML2. D: Anyway, if that's the case, those are pretty terrific! It's nice to see the little things being changed like the lighting on the box connector thingys (don't know their name), it just adds than sheen of professionalism.

the circles on those ! blocks are looking really weird, especially on the smaller one. also, the shading on the smaller pipes is pretty bad. it inverts on the main parts, while the top parts look alright.
