Well, that's definitely an improvement from your previous sprites I have seen, Darky :D . His face and head look a bit smashed, though. Also, the shading on the hat looks a little awkward to me and the hat looks kind of like it's cut off in the back and top. You might also want to turn Mario's body a little big in the jumping pose.

It's hard to tell that the third sprite is actually doing a double punch animation (you have to look really hard to notice the double punch).

I'm impressed by your SMRPG-style sprites! I've never understood how people can make custom sprites in a pre-rendered style! Animation is great on them all. Clown car looks slightly big on Bowser though, but that might just be me.
