Thanks! It's actually a beginning for a total graphical rework for a top-down zombie game I made a long time ago. I'm going to polish it up and then release it for playing.

For a little constructive criticism, Mario's forehead looks pretty large, and the hat could be a little rounder.

I don't know if you're going for a SMB1-esque stance, but if not, you may want to change his body from facing the front.

Koopatrols for SMB: Odyssey. They'll only appear later in the game, except for the gray one, which is appearing as early as the final castle of chapter one. The Dark Koopatrol will occasionally turn around if you're on it's other side, and will attempt to hop over small enemies and walls. The orange one behaves similarly to the "Hyper Koopa" from Hello's engine, except it's on fire, will leap over small gaps, and will occasionally drop a short-lived flame behind it for you to avoid.

Credit goes to Shikaternia for the helmet :P

These do look pretty good, you might want to make the top part of the mouth longer by 1 px it looks a little flat to me.
