I was wondering, is there an autotiling engine for GameMaker Studio out there? It could be a really good addition to the world.
(Example, for Super Mario Maker fangames?)
If there is one, (or if you made one yourself) post it here!

I've coded some myself once, but there are plenty of tutorials out there.

For instance, Shaun himself made a tutorial about it once: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kexl6kF0EfM
Also, here's an article if you rather read than watch: http://blog.cowboycolor.com/binary-auto ... ame-maker/

Cliax Codec is a combination of top-down and third-person shooter. The gameplay will blend platforming, puzzle and shmup elements together to create a unique gameplay experience. You will take control of four playable characters which rise against a team that seemingly wants to take over the world - but are their motives really that cliché, or are there deeper motives behind their actions?
