Teach me how to add an image, Please?

first you need to upload it to an image hosting site. something like imgur works, but there's a lot of options. once its uploaded, you need to get the link to the image. this an be done by right clicking the image in the page, clicking "copy image url", then pasting it between the [img] bbcode tags magnemania showed.

There's the attachment thing, but who the heck ever uses that regularly?

You have to upload the image to a hosting site (I use http://postimage.io/) and then put the image link between the [img] tags.
