Uhh, I think that depends... "I am attracted to purple so I want this character in my game to wear purple" sounds like it makes sense to me. But I bet that will be based on interpretation. Aren't we going off-topic? What about splitting it?

Though the fact it is a hinderance can be used to make a statement, it's very possible to make unique gameplay experiences around a disability by using it as a game design tool.
