That was a great interview. Link's Awakening was my first experience with the Zelda series, and it remains one of my favorite games in the series. I like how Ty is doing more of a remaster than a 2D-to-3D conversion. I haven't read the Link's Awakening manga, but the original game definitely has some plot themes that could be better fleshed out (like Marin's relationship with Link, or what the Sunfish actually is). To be honest, I'd never really even thought about what the Sunfish might actually be, and I've played through Link's Awakening a ridiculous number of times. I'm definitely looking forward to this.

No offense, but I think you're using the word "remaster" incorrectly. A remaster would be more along the lines of the original game but with the assets polished without anything actually changing or added on. A full on remake would be a more appropriate term here.

On Ty Anderson's Interview: This is great. I actually really appreciate you've posted this, as this sparked some interest in the project itself as a whole. Talking to devs of games is really intriguing to me as much as playing their work as an artform. It sounds to me he has a lot of love and dedication to the project, as well as the intelligence means to do it--This is very exciting to hear what I did. I'll definitely keep an eye on this new project.

For you CM30--Great work! I will have to take the time to read all your interviews, because it just fascinates me to hear from project leaders on their works of art.

Would you consider interviewing me after I finish my project? Actually... maybe I'm not that much of a public interest. I would love to see an interview of giangurgolo, the author of Super Mario RPG's Lazy Shell editor, or even FuSoYa, author of SMW's Lunar Magic. Though darkkefka for sure is my top pick, since he's actually reachable (he streams on Twitch).

I think FuSoYa already got an interview:

http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/fusoya ... erview.htm

Not sure there'd be a point in me trying to hold a second one.

The author of Lazy Shell is possible, and it'd certainly be a very different topic to what site users would be used to.

Interviewing you? Well to be honest, I'd have to see if your game gets popular first. It seems like it's doing decently here, but I haven't heard much about it on other sites. So I'm not sure if the level of interest would be there in my readers.

I'll check FuSoYa's interview. Thank you.

Giangurgolo of Lazy Shell seemed to have disappeared off the face of the Earth, so it might be difficult to get in touch with him.

Interviewing me would be uh... silly. Yeah I thought it was silly to ask at all.

That was an interesting interview with Ty! I haven't really played Link's Awakening yet, but Ty's project is looking pretty interesting so far. I like how he is adding some original content into it, instead of just remastering it.

Vit: Yeah, "remake" is much closer to the term I was looking for. I was trying to think of a word that's even better than "remake", but to no avail.

Well, none the less, guess it's time to get some other interviews for the site.

And hopefully Mors one about Mario Flashback, if he's answered the questions yet...

And we're back again.

This time, with two more.

First up is an interview with a YouTuber called Shesez about a gaming video series called Boundary Break. That interview can be found here, and gives some insight into what it's like making gaming videos on YouTube:

https://gamingreinvented.com/interview/ ... ary-break/

And then we have our second one, with Mors about Super Mario Flashback. It can be viewed here:

https://gamingreinvented.com/interview/ ... flashback/

So yeah, thoughts on the new interviews?

It's a pleasant surprise that you made your first non-developer interview Shesez. I've seen some of his work before and it's highly interesting.

Considering that h hires animators to work on his intros, I wonder if he might consider me at some point.

Maybe you could ask him. He's a very nice guy, and tends to respond to people pretty quickly on Twitter or YouTube.

Not a fan game developer this time, but I've just secured an interview with the Lonely Goomba:

https://gamingreinvented.com/interview/ ... ly-goomba/

Yeah, you know, that guy who makes amusing rant/discussion videos about Nintendo games here:

https://www.youtube.com/user/TheLonelyGoomba/

So, is it an interesting interview? What do you think?

No way! The Lonely Goomba!?

..... Heh... Sorry about that... As a big fan of the Goomba, I flipped out a bit.

Anyway, is it possible for you to try to have him look over some Goomba sprites I made? I'm planning other ave him cameo in my first Paper Mario short you see. I tried shooting him a YouTube message in the past, but he hasn't replied...

Well, maybe. Though have you tried a public tweet as well? He's a nice guy, and usually seems to respond to tweets and messages.

It's not fan game related, but I now have two more. Namely, with DJ Slope of Slopes Game Room and Top Hat Gaming Man!

https://gamingreinvented.com/interview/ ... game-room/

https://gamingreinvented.com/interview/ ... aming-man/

How often do you see a video game reviewer that's a politically themed pro wrestler in their free time? Not often, I'll say that much!

Nice, I like both YouTubers (Especially SGR) so this will be pretty interesting to read.

I checked out both interviews, and they seemed interesting. The two YouTubers seem kind of neat. Also, CM30, if you're trying to find more people to interview, then I think Friendly Dictator might be an interesting one to interview. He has made some neat fangames before, like Crazy Lakitu DX and Abducted Toad (the latter even managed to tie for Best Game Overall on the MFGG Awards 2014).

well, got a few neat ones coming up soon.

Like one with Thunder Dragon's new studio about Psycutlery. Or a possible interview with an ex Nintendo developer who's now a YouTuber.

But for now, here's an interesting one with Guru Larry:

https://gamingreinvented.com/interview/ ... uru-larry/

He's on Channel Awesome, was originally a TV presenter talking about video games and he currently posts Fact Hunt videos on YouTube.
