I'll likely post concept art and give some details in the future, but I have my own Paper Mario project to worry about now. It is something I want to to pursue eventually as long as the world has room for one more Paper Mario spiritual successor.

By the way, I chose a wild west theme because it's not only very interesting, but also that I'm a little tired of the medieval fantasy theme.

Not a game dev this time, but a music uploader and Let's Player on YouTube. Here's my interview with BlueJackG!

How about trying to get into touch with SmithyGCN again? I'll even try to help you conduct the interview. I also have at least a couple of other ideas, but I'm a bit iffy about sharing them.

Yeah, I can do that.

And come on, you can always post your other ideas here. I mean, who else is interviewing fan game developers at moment?

Edit: I have now asked him. I've also starting asking other people whose work I admire too, just to get this interview stuff up and going again.

Well, I now have three interviews planned, with two already in the pipeline here. Won't say who they're with yet though. Need to keep some things a surprise here!

An Isometric Super Mario World
Now this is a game,I've thought of making a long time ago..the game basically is what the title says, good ol' Dinosaur Land in a topdown isometric form or somethin', the real concept was that you could travel through Dinosaur Land as this cursor shaped protagonist and you could do certain actions with the mouse, like in Super Mario Galaxy, you could pause enemies in their tracks, you could use the mouse to interact in ways, that you previously couldn't in Dinosaur Land, the general SMW bosses were there too.

Super Mario 3D
Now I didn't know what to title this or whatever, but I knew what this game would be like, the game's engine would be the same Doom engine used by SRB2, but only this time, it was modified for Mario-styled 3D gameplay, The gameplay features the iconic plumber and his friends as you can jump around the Mushroom Kingdom with the general powerups, you've known to learn and love, Multiplayer would be local co-op and online, the game would be set in 3rd person styled view, much like the Mario games and just like SRB2, it included fun modes for local/online play such as racing and battling. If I had the effort to go and build the whole game up, it would be fun to see it grow and become a awesome idea, it was planned to be.

Did you mean to post this under "fangames you want to make"?

Next interview is up! This time not with a fan game developer, but with a YouTube music remixer called Loeder:

You may know him for music covers like this one:

Nice job! It's good to see a SmithyGCN interview.

I think you meant to format the line beginning with "How about getting into professional game development?" as a question, so you might want to fix that.

Fixed.

But yeah, it's a pretty interesting interview. Kind of wondering who I should interview next to be honest...

Well, there's always Alvin Earthworm. Also, try to contact Arlo, Lockstin, and Protomario.

Thanks for the suggestions! I contacted Arlo before, but he didn't seem interested at the time for whatever reason. Think he said he was a bit busy or something.

Not sure who Lockstin is, do you mean the guy from the Lockstin & Gnoggin channel? If so, that's a possibility.

Haven't seen any of ProtoMario's videos, so I have to be honest and say I probably wouldn't be able to conduct a good interview with him as a result.

And for Alvin Earthworm... Think I contacted him before, but no response. Might be a possible interview at some point or another.

Yes! That's the same Lockstin I'm talking about! Try hitting him up if you can! Also, I'm sorry that you didn't get around to interviewing Arlo and Alvin.

You know, I was milling it over and I thought of a few extra ideas. May I state them, or should I give someone else a go?

Yeah, may as well state them. The more ideas people provide the better.
