So I have one object that has multiple materials. I know the trick of creating a new UV map, assigning a new image to it and baking the textures. There's just one little problem here... while the original could reuse textures, it is baked multiple times on the new image. So if an image is re-used like a 100 times, the baked map either becomes extremely low-quality or needs a size of 16.000 x 16.000 pixels to even look somewhat decent. Not only can't GM handle huge textures like that, it's also absolutely insane. So is there a way to combine all the UV maps essentially into one, but with each texture being only there once, so the final UV map can reuse textures? That would be doozie.
