Super Mario RPG 2 was probably cancelled.

3D Mario Bros is discontinued. SM64 engine is the revival of it.

DarkBlueYoshi btw, I wonder about your engine revival, does it mean you want it to look like SM64 rather than Mario Bros in 3D?

@^ It's going to be a 3D Mario engine with SM64 movement and Sunshine graphics.

Sorry for a bump, but I'm putting the engine on hold (and no, it's not dead) as my interests cycle pretty quickly. An update to OP post would be nice.

Anyway, the ONLY good 3D quality fangame I've ever seen is Megaman 8-bit deathmatch. It doesn't use 3D characters but still :D. It IS annoyingly tedious. More often than not, I end up getting hurt just because my jump was pixelperfectly on the paper-flat enemy with a hitbox, that is about as much flat like the enemy itself. That's not nice at all.
