Like Mason and others said:
The best way to deal with this is to prepare by putting a disclaimer into the game somewhere and hope that they don't decompile the game to take it out.

Anything else will most likely lead to a dead end, because they knowingly steal and modify our games. It would be a different story if they just "wouldn't know better".

i think using anti decompilers is in order at this point.

in light of, we have somebody who will knowingly decompile and modify the disclaimers and claim the work of others as their own,

we can all e-mail him

the issue right now is that there's no link stating where to contact the webmaster or host

EDIT: http://www.facebook.com/apps/applicatio ... 6095999%2F

here's his Facebook page... or rather, the page for Mario Forever - but i can't seem to extract from that the individual

EDIT2: http://www.youtube.com/user/softendo#p/u

and here is his YouTube profile - we can contact him through here

I've already contacted him via YouTube messaging, and to sum it up, requested he either remove the fangames or properly credit them and list the website as just a distributor, and notified him that there will be more messages being sent by victims he has violated in he further chooses not to cooperate.

text in click, GM, and Construct can be edited with a simple hexadecimal/binary editor.
I think its time to encourage storing disclaimers as Image files within your projects,at
That way they cannot be hacked as easily.

Application of static noise can keep the pixils from being identified as well.

Oh god. They started this since 2009!! Now they gone too far! They even made a game called Kingdom Troubles that made from Hello's SMB engine.

Here what I found so far more:
Super Mario Paper Game -- I clearly remember this entry from NCFC 2010
Super Mario Haloween -- Mario's House of STHU - By Shaq Fu (NCFC 2010)
The Super Mario Bros Skypop Flaying in the Sky -- Skypop Scramble - By ancara22 (NCFC 2010)
Super Mario The Kingdom Troubles -- This is definetly a bad Hello SMB clone.
Super Punch Out from Nintendo Returns - The Luigi Punch Out -- Luigi Punch - By kjellm87
Super Mario Bros the Eternal Mansion - Mario the Imprisioner -- Eternal Mansion - By Char
Super Mario -- Another game made from Hello's SMB engine

Plus, they got horrible spelling and grammer! "Flying" not "Flaying", "Halloween" not "Haloween." They did not put some effort on them or they're bad at Enginsh (since they're Polanders).

Isn't this one of Hello's earlier game?
Spoiler:

Anyways, I'm going to add MFGG logo intro to all of my games.

This one must've been stolen, mainly because Hello made a game called Kingdom Troubles.
EDIT: assuming the screenshot is wrong, of course.

It's sad that looking up "Mushroom Patrol: Midas Machine" brings up tons of hits for "Super Mario Patrol", which is of course it's stolen renamed version.

Maybe a little message in the start up screen warning players that if they didn't get it from MFGG, then there is a chance it could be tampered with and may cause harm to their computer.

That's nice, but retroactively doesn't help the current situation.

quite frankly, this dick deserves to have his network ddos'ed,
though that wont accomplish anything besides getting people in trouble. :nope:

geeze..
what kind of jerk steals free games?

all people ask for is credit,
and not even their real name most of the time.
this guy has taken even that..

Something else just catched my attention: That whole site doesn't even give credit to Nintendo. There's nothing about Nintendo there, and the disclaimer on the bottom of the page is just one large peice of advertising.

I've just had an idea.

I was doing some stuff about domain name abuse and cyber-squatting, and I was thinking that it might be possible to get the MarioCity URL handed over to MFGG - but first, we need to build a case which proves the following:

The domain name is identical or confusingly similar to a trademark or service mark in which the complainant has rights; (This one may be the unsticking point, as the name's not a trademark in which we have 'rights' as such, yet the content is copylefted by us... then again, if we can get Nintendo onto this case, they might be able to fill in this gap)

The registrant does not have any rights or legitimate interests in the domain name; (Disbuiting fangames with malware =/= a legitimate interest, but we may need to improve on this) and

The registrant registered the domain name and is using it in "bad faith." (Stealing other's work == bad faith, so this one is practically in the bag)

It might not be perfect, but I don't know if he knows about this process, and what it needs. If he doesn't, then warning him that we may try to 'take over' his site through ICANN's Domain Name Dispute process may get him to break.

I don't think we should. I mean, we don't have the permission to use Mario characters either.
