If you have something to add, please reply! (Original topic on the Archives, this topic has a few sections unrelated to development removed.)

Holy crap dude!

looks like you've been busy! :soveryhappy:

"Hohoo's Guide to Convert FLV to MP3" appears to be broken.

Also, I would like to add to the list the freeware tool SUPERĀ© as a handy Video/Audio/Image conversion tool.

Winamp Universal media player. if you have the right plugin, this will play near anything, can also dump audio into .wav (instructions) great for converting Ripped video game music into something useable, (I recommend converting the .wav into something that isn't sofrikkenhuge:MBs)

were, it does have its applications in some form or another, Using it for music is probably the biggest mistake somebody could make,
Since it tries to emulate the wavetable using an MIDI sound output (which is more or less a generic synthesizer) on a single instrument channel the end result will sound like crap.

However, If you are trying for the Pokemon voice effect. this works well if you process your own voice through it, then run the midi through midi to 8-bit, and bam, theres a pokemon voice effect from an old monochrome gameboy.

I posted it here because it has it's own language. I will be posting tutorials as soon as I can.
But most people these days just download a bunch of characters and stages, and play with them, few people actually try to make actual fighting games with it.
