After years in development, I have finally released my game! Was it worth it? Probably not, there's a lot of old features floating around in this thing, old engines etc... but it was a labour of love and I hope it shows. I hope you enjoy it if you have a chance to play it!

The Overworld is where all the minigames are located. This map gives a basic idea of the size of the world that you will be exploring. Finding Minigames is a matter of exploring the Overworld and locating various stalls that have been set up.

In addition to these stalls, there are also buildings that you can enter:
The Arcade: This is where you will find some retro Arcade games, as well as other Minigames such as Roulette and Slot Machines, Air Hockey and others.
The Ghost House: This is home to some spooky minigames set around a ghostly theme, such as Boo's Attic, Spotlight Fright and Glurp Grab
The Card Pavilion: Various card based games are found here, including Card Battles with Bowser, Luigi and others and Rock Paper Scissors.

In addition to that, there are many other areas of the park to explore and people to talk to, so have fun just walking around and talking to the friendly citizens of Mario Land!

There are over 80 Minigames to find and play in Mario Land: Minigame Mayhem. These range from platforming challenges, skill based top-down games, puzzles, arcade games and so much more. Here's a few examples of minigames that you can find in the park. I won't show them all here, find them for yourself!

Here's the old, out of date NCFC video to give you a basic idea of the games.

Achievements are an optional but enjoyable part of Minigame Mayhem. They can be earned in a variety of ways, but the most common way to earn an achievement is to complete a certain task in a Minigame. Almost all Minigames in the park have some form of achievement attached to them. There are also achievements for other tasks to be earned, such as earning a certain amount of money from Minigames, or purchasing all the Outfits.

Many of the Minigames in the park offer Online High Scores. This means that if you happen to perform particularly well in a game, you may enter your name and it will appear in an online high score list! The top three are ranked with Gold, Silver and Bronze coins. Competing for high scores is a great way to keep coming back and trying harder.

Only the top 10 scores are displayed, and these can be checked any time in the menu if you want to see the score you need to beat.

Unlockable content is an optional part of the game, but something enjoyable all the same.

Outfits let you buy and equip different looks for Mario as you traverse the overworld or participate in minigames! There are 12 outfits to choose from, with possibly more in the future.

Figurines are like Trophies in the Smash Bros series. Collect them all, and read snippets of information about each one! There are 60 to collect!

Word has it something mysterious unlocks when you have tried all the minigames in the park!

I noticed the guy in charge of the koopa shell minigame says "could" twice, where the second time he should say... well I don't remember now, but I'm sure you'll see if you go through his dialogue.

the game is really laggy for me, whereas the beta wasn't
edit: for some reason it's only the block luck minigame

Odd, it works fine for me and i've had no complaints about that game before, seeing as it's such a simple game.

It also lags whenever I finish a minigame and choose an option (return or exit), for some reason.

For some reason the Zip file is being corrupted when it's downloaded.

Oddly enough, it opens just fine in 7Zip, but in standard windows extractor it says the file is invalid, despite being perfectly fine when uploaded.

Wow! Amazing job with this - it's crazy fun! :D
Everything about it is beautiul; it's simply amazing how much there is to do. Everything is also really well polished (even the credits :O )! Now I can't wait to get some more highscores of mine on those leaderboards! >:D

Two things so far: Please make the Tetris clone speed up quicker, rounds last forever. And the collision detection in the overworld is awful compared to the rest of the game.

It's fantastic otherwise, the time it took was definitely worth it!

The collision in the overworld and other top-down minigames is something I plan to update now that the game is released, but it wasn't a priority for me because it's not something I consider game breaking. You can see a better example of top-down collision in the Bank Heist minigame though.

As for the Tetris clone, i'll look into it but I will probably leave it how it is otherwise I'll need to reset the high scores.
