This is a discussion of a complex, story centric series of Mario fan games I am willing to create: The Stories of M. Story will be up soon.

Sounds a nice concept, but you should start this topic when you got some screenshot/video/ or demo.

Here is a VERY EARLY screenshot. I have just started it. I named it SMB with Mario Clash Physics to give everyone an idea what gameplay may be like...

What do you think of the sprites so far? I recolored Mario from Mario Clash and I created the ground tiles myself.

Sprite is fine, good thing it's not overused. Grounds needs more work like shading.

Will do. Also, each game will be an entirely different genre from the last one. This game will be categorized as "Platform" while one will be categorized as "Other." Why is one of these games labeled "other?" I will reveal soon, but it's not what you think.

Nice! I agree with Supernova on the shadings for the Ground. Do you want to use my earlier ground pic that I was going to put in LM2D? It's right here.
