During a 15 hour car ride back home from Georgia to Connecticut, I decided I wanted to make a simple gui engine with java. After making the basics (a custom font engine,custom button support, ect), I really wanted to make it into a game. *UPDATE* I added a feature that allows the user to edit the Background. You can switch between what you're editing, with the E key. Objects in the background cannot be collided with, and are just for looks (such as a wall in your house).

This is pretty cool. I assume you've heard of Terraria, which is also basically a 2d Minecraft.

whoa. How did I not notice this? Dude, this is awesome sauce. Really like what I see so far, especially blowing stuff up. That to me is an absolute delight.
