The MFGG Tower is a located in the center of a re-established MFGG Town, built by Dustinvgmaster, Blutorus, and LuigiM9, the only survivors of a mafia crisis exactly 50 years ago. The town began to grow, and MFGG started to build its numbers again. LuigiM9 was the first to perish. He chose to move on to the afterlife. Blutorus was next, but he chose to persist as a red ghost. With LuigiM9 out of the way, they began to lose sight of their goals. MFGG Tower became the hub of MFGG Town's elite. Those who were lower on the social hierarchy felt that the elite were conspiring against them. Slowly, a new mafia began to form. Join me for a game of deception, lies, and funny death stories. [size=150][b]1) What's this?[/b][/size] Mafia is a parlor game where the citizens of the town try to unmask the mafiosos that walk among them. The townspeople vote to lynch a member during the day, and the mafia votes by PM to decide that night's murder victim. This is a game of teamwork, as well as distrust. Nobody can be sure of anybody else's role, and it's not very smart to reveal your own, but both sides must work together to eliminate the opposing team. [size=150][b]2) Rules[/b][/size] [b]2a) Day[/b] [list][*]The game begins on a day phase. Each day phase lasts 24 hours, and each night does as well. [*]During the day, all members discuss in the main game topic. The citizens have the goal of finding a member of the mafia, and the mafia must try to blend in and appear to be pro-town, in order to avoid getting lynched. [*]Everyone must vote on a player to be lynched (killed by the town). This is done by making a post with the following format: "I vote [username]." You are allowed to vote "no one", but you are REQUIRED to post "I vote no one." If you do not post by the end of the day phase, your vote is not counted at all. All votes must be equal or greater to 50% of the votes for a player to be lynched. Any other outcome results in no lynching.[/list] [b]2b) Night[/b] [list][*]During the night phase, the citizens should be asleep, so the topic will be locked. [*]Each mafia member will send me a PM deciding who they vote, in the "I vote [username]" format. If 50% of the mafia (or more) send me the same username, they will be murdered, unless the murder had been stopped by a role that can save people. [*]Roles that have night actions will also PM me, stating their intent. [*]At the beginning of the next day phase, I will announce any deaths that occurred during the night, send PMs to players who performed their actions and inform them of the results. Special roles that have powers outside the rules listed above will be assigned and explained in detail in the main game topic. You could be a cop, doctor, or some other special role.
