I know not everyone here on MFGG at this point in time may have met Darkz, I know some older members still here might, and I would imagine that there are probably a few lurkers who were regular members back in the 2004-2007 period. But I thought that those who knew him and aren't connected to me or some other older MFGGers on Facebook, have the right to know. So... how to say it. Darkz passed away on January 6th, 2013, from an accidental overdose. I only found out a year later, where another MFGGer (CYG) saw a memorial post on Darkz' Facebook account one year after his death, and his account got deactivated for good three days later. I had chased up one of his high school friends from MySpace, and confirmed what had happened and the cause of death. CYG and I decided not to change his Wiki article, so as not to disturb his posts, and also as a sign of respect for his memory. However I talked to VinnyVideo about it recently, and we thought that a post on the boards might be the best way to let the community know, and let them deliberate whether or not to chronicle it in the MFGG timeline, in passing mention, as had happened before when someone connected to the community had deceased many years ago. As a final note, please respect this topic and do not post anything disrespectful or inflammatory about Darkz, or others. Thank you. -Jas

It's very sad to see someone pass away; especially if it's somebody from that was a regular on this forum. My condolences.

I know we've already talked about this elsewhere, but I'd like to express my condolences to his family. Thanks for letting us know about this.

I knew Darkz as an acquaintance briefly... I'm awfully sorry to hear this has happened.

Oh, I remember seeing some of his posts when I first joined the forums. Even though I didn't know him, I'm sad to hear about this. :(
