Morrad asked me to put up the competition topic for him, so I'm doing that now.
His topic will be displayed on
>> The Timer <<on Saturday 20th of October.
Same rules as usual, however I feel the need to emphasize this again:
No extensions! They rarely benefit anyone, and the only exception to this rule is if a significant amount of people who have already done something need the extra time to complete their entry. But rule of thumb is: NO extensions. Finish your entries until the deadline, or you're out.
Minigame Competitions are about time management, programming efficiently and not overestimating your time or skill.
Make something that can be done in a week. If you only have 4 days to work on your entry because you have school or work, then make something that can be done in 4 days. Quality can always win over quantity. Keep that in mind.
It might sound like strict or harsh rules, but if you force yourself to some discipline and work with limitations, your creativity will greatly benefit from it over time.
With that said, enjoy the show.
Maybe some of these entries make it to NCFC which starts in about a month from now!
Good luck!
