The winner of the last comp was Wiiboy4ever.
However, because he did not set up the next theme within a certain time frame,
This was given to Runner Up. which was me.

We have a 24 hour minigame comp this time,

Why is there always timer that makes people wait over a week just to start the next competition?

I think the "in order" here refers to the things irrelevant to the comp, instead of the other way around.

In a way that makes sense, but I can't see people going "There's a minigame in a week's time? Better clear my schedule up". I think there's as much chance someone'll have time to work on a game in 2 days time as there is in 11 days time.

With only one day of my time necessary, I might actually enter this one!

I just have one quick question. I have a 3D skeleton system I made in GM for a previous project; since it's a skeleton engine, does that go against the "no engines allowed" rule? Or does the rule only apply to something for a complete game, like the Hello engine?

because we established that people need at least a week break before the next competition would start - and these competitions used to get started almost the same day the previous one ended

But it's been almost 2 weeks since the last one.

And it's kinda dumb (for me anyway) how I have the next week off but the competition's on Sunday.

Well, it's not like I NEED to make games.
