First off, congratulations are in order for Daggerhog and Morrad1991, the runner-ups of the previous competition. Good show, lads! As well, a round of applause for all who entered.
The theme of the 9th drawing competition is...
COMICS!
Your task is to draw a comic. What it's about doesn't really matter. I suggest to keep it short, though.
Those who enter should pay attention to:
-panel layout -quality of inking and/or colouring -strength and interest of composition (not just two guys talking in a 3/4 perspective) -needless to say, the general artistic skill displayed
What this competition is NOT about is a cut-and-paste comic done only to show off a joke. It's okay if your comic is funny, but having it ride only on that fact while ignoring the quality of the art and composition is the opposite of what I am looking for, since this is a DRAWING competition.
The due date is SUNDAY 23rd.
Good luck! I look forward to more entries than my music competition...
