Presenting the theme for this competition *drumroll*: But wait! How about a story first? (Stop the drumroll sound for a while, please) *ahem* One day, Bowser wanted to fix his mistakes in defeating Mario by going back in time. He sets up a time machine and he enters the portal. However, the place he ended up isn't in the past, it was an alternate universe where boys of the MK are girls and girls are boys. [center]Okay, now I'm really announcing the theme *drumroll*: [b][size=150]The Great Switcheroo [/size][/b][/center] Your task is to recreate characters so the male characters(Mario, Bowser, Kooper, Goombario, Boos, Koopas, etc) become female and female characters(Princess Peach, Goombella, Princess Daisy, etc) become male. [b]Rules/Guidelines:[/b] • No pre-made sprites. All sprites to be submitted should be made within the competition period. • You are not allowed to make drawings using the brush tool and resize them to look like a sprite. • Be as creative as possible. • You may sprite any character in the Mario-verse. • Any spriting style will do. • Have fun! Animations are not necessary but it will make you have a higher chance of winning. Also, be creative. [size=85]I got the new competition theme title from an old drawing competition. The concept for that competition was different, though.[/size] This ends on January 6. You have two weeks(since Christmas is coming and all). Ready, get set, GO!

Good evening folks! This is my first sprite competition, so I'm thinking of going in with an open mind. Originally she was going to be an edit of someone elses edit, but I decided that I wouldn't be satisfied with the sprite if that was all I did with her. So I decided to custom make this sprite... in a style I'm not familiar with. Hopefully it turned out okay. Feel free to leave me your critics! I'd love to hear them.
