Alright, let's get on the ball with this. Welcome to Nintendo! You have been hired as a designer. Good for you! It seems as if Miyamoto is about to make a new Mario game. But wait! If looks like he's changing stuff. It's not exactly the games you remember. Things look different. Why is he doing this? f*** you he's Miyamoto. That's why. Now he's asking you to do the same, but for Mario's transformations. So what is he asking? He wants you to redesign Mario's classic suits and powers. Forget the white shirt and red overalls, and give Mario a suit that really says "Fire"! Why can't the hammer suit come in different colors? Just make Mario's old costumes modern and different! Have fun with it! Miyamoto is counting on you. You have until SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19th to complete the task |

So to be a bit more clear on what we can do... Hmmm.... I want to give an example but it has a little spoiler from SM3DL, so I'd understand if you don't want to read it (It's not that big of a spoiler imo). When Luigi gets a Super Leaf, he doesn't turn into Tanooki Luigi, he becomes Kitsune Luigi. Kitsune Luigi does the same thing as Tanooki, but it's still technically different. Would something like that count? Like, could I make Seal Mario which would work exactly like Penguin Mario? |

Off topic: Just out of curiousity, are we like, not doing sprite comp badges any more? 'Cause they weren't handed out in comps 8 and 7 On topic: Could someone clarify the theme for me please? I don't really get it. So, you said redesign Fire Mario, for example. But, like, how do you want us to go about doing that? Swapped pallettes? Also, by the way, I'd avoid using stuff like Japanese text in official things like competitions. |

I'm a tad confused. Would I be allowed to take a mario sprite that I've already made and then make new outfits for it? I'm guessing that I'd have to do the entire thing completely starting from scratch, right? |

Every earlier sprite comp has required you to make the sprites from scratch so I'd imagine it'd be like that with this too. |
