Thanks to Supernova for the banner.

THE OFFICIAL MFGGCRAFT SERVER TIMES
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
3:30 PM - 11:30 PM
SATURDAY
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
SUNDAY
11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
(The schedule is in US EST, so if you don't use Eastern Standard Time, use a converter to find out the times for your area)

RULES
Spoiler:

Post your MC name so I can whitelist you.

POLL DETAILS
We would play on a VANILLA SURVIVAL MAP (if you'd like to use a specific seed, put it in a post), and during this time NOBODY WOULD BE OP to avoid cheating. We would all play at the same time, so, say, if one person wanted to play on the map alone, they wouldn't be able to. The rules of a Hardcore map would be that if you die, that's it. You cannot respawn, and you cannot rejoin. I might allow for spectating, as long as players don't cheat items in from spectators.

-actual sprites-

They were just jellous that your skin was better. Lol.

Edit: Good work on the sprites, I can't think of anything wrong with them right now, though I'm not an expert spriter.

The Mario sprite isn't bad but the shading on the hat, like shadow Kami said, looks like a construction hat or helmet.
My advice is to replace he lightest part to in front to show the shading more like a hat. That's about the only thing that is wrong.

UPDATE: animated versions of the walk and run animations are up!
ImageImage
i also got rid of the brightest shade of red, there really was no place to put it and i couldn't really change the color anyway without it either looking like pink or orange
UPDATE2: now the animations are up to date along with the jumping animation!
ImageImageImage
UPDATE3: now there's a ducking animation.
UPDATE4: and now a death animation. i also added an extra frame to the falling part of the jump animation.

These are looking really nice. Definitely looks cleaner without the highlight.

The only animation I don't like it the running animation where his arms move. His hands move too high up too fast. For example, if you look from the first frame, his right arm takes 3 frames to move 90 degrees. Then on the last frame, it shoots up another 90 degrees. It looks like he keeps punching the air when he runs.
The rest is beautiful.

i tried to fix the fourth frame by making the arm a tad straighter, and it ended up looking bad. what i could try is have the arm descending frame be before that specific frame, but i dunno. here's the end result: Image, compared to the original (which i have changed one frame, because up close it looked like his arm was fidgeting around)Image. i will admit the new one looks miles better, since it's the walk and the original looks like he's sort of skipping

added death poses, check the first post!
the first pose is SMW styled, and the second is custom (first frame for ascending, second for descending)

Looks great, I have a feeling if you made a sprite project out of that style you'd do pretty well.

my only complait is the dying sprite of mario it more like he's climbing very hastily maybe animate them more like he moves them weakly (seeing as he just dies and doesn't have a lot of strength left after that) (I'm bat at explainging things -.-')

It's supposed to look like he's climbing. It's a classic cartoon based joke that when someone falls, they will try to stay avoid it by climbing/running/swimming. Yes Mario would be out of strength if he was KO'd in real life, but this isn't real life.

Very nice graphics Mit, I think I'll use the Mario in a planning game...
