This theme was suppossed to be for the boss fight... I was thinking there would be a lot of "growing" sound effects like the Naval Pirahna Plant from Yoshi's Island.

Well, the issue right now is that it's pretty calm for an actual fight, and that it sounds like it's building up to something the whole time, like there will be this big part that just never happens.


I mean, just listen to Bogmire's theme:

It gives you a spooky feel while keeping a fast action pace.

The fast pace should first phase, make an even faster version for second phase. That would sound better in my opinion.

They're nicely composed. Though GameBoy Horror gives me the cr*ppy midi feeling. Change that to 8-bit would be better.

I think the song would be better if you added to it a bit. Something to give it more danger, more of a beat or something, idk, it just feels like it's missing something.

I'm thinking something with chimes maybe, although I like the primitive idea.


Oh, with a bit of tweaking, I could totally see some bongos working in the faster one which, imo would go with the location (I believe you fight him in a greenhouse, which may probably have a pseudo jungle feel)

From how it was described, the green house sounds like a single room, so I doubt we'd see another ghost in it. It sounds more like the bosses arena of sorts, like how the graveyard was Bogmire's arena.
